Confidence is Beauty!

  

I felt like I owned the world in this outfit, I know what you're thinking..... this outfit isn't anything special! It doesn't take much to make an outfit look amazing, all it takes is confidence in who you are and what you're wearing and once you have that you can wear anything and make it fabulous! Confidence attracts compliments and who doesn't love to be complimented!  

It's so simple, a plain top, fun scarf, a maxi skirt and a pair of heels! To be honest my legs felt like they went on for days and thats all thanks to my maxi skirt and my ankle boots! Feeling like you want to be a little taller?! Grabs some heels and a maxi skirt. Remember..... Confidence is beautiful so own it!   

Beauty in simplicity!

There is beauty in simplicity! Beauty can easily be defined by having the nicest brands, the highest shoes or the tightest clothes...... but who's the one defining beauty? The world or you? 

Sometimes I feel the most beautiful in a pair of jeans, flats, a mens button down and my grandmas pearls! 

Take a min to redefine beauty to you and then own it,  remember beauty can be many things and simple is one of them!!! 

Floral love!

 

I love getting new outfits but I do this weird thing....... I'm always hesitate to wear them because heaven forbid I wear it on a day that no one see's me or nothing amazing happens. Well I've decided that no matter what day it is or what outfit I have on it's my job to make my day amazing! 

I got this fabulous floral dress( forever 21) from my mom for Christmas and immediately knew I had to run to target to get the perfect matching green boot socks( you can't see in the pic but the dress has green in it). What better to wear on a sunny warm day than a floral dress, tights, boots and if you need a jacket you can never go wrong with a leather one! Go out and make your amazing day!! 

The Fashion games!

My oldest sister is probably gonna make fun of me for this and my youngest sister is probably gonna be mad at me cause "hunger games is my thing!" Sorry Suz...........Anyways! Over Christmas break I took my youngest sister to see the new hunger games movie, in one of the scenes Katness wear this fabulous cowl wrap thing so of course I fell in love with it and had to find a pattern to make something similar to hers! 

Within the night I had found a pattern and ordered my size #35 needles (Had no idea they made them that big) I quickly got started and finished last night! I was thrilled and couldn't wait to show it off today! 

So here it is folks! I volunteer my tribute to the hunger games!

Gloomy days..... No worry!

63 degrees its cold i know but on days that seem a little gloomy it's ok to not get "dolled up", that's why I thank the lord for big baggy sweaters!  My personal rule is if you wear something baggy on top keep it tighter and more form fitting on the bottom, even if this is a mens sweater I got from the thrift store I still wanna feel like a woman and show off some curves! So like I said, gloomy weather no worries, that just means we get to play around with sweater!  

Just cause the weather is gloomy doesn't mean you have to be, Smile!!! 

Now a "do"!

As I sat down to plan a few outfits out with my trusty guide in hand I soon realized that although I wish ball gowns and quality champagne were apart of my everyday life at this moment in time they are not....... but don't fret i've decided that until my life allows me those luxuries I will post not only my "one hundred" but also my outfit of the day! 

If you would have asked me 3 years ago if I would wear jean with jean I would have said no but it's not 3 years ago so what use to be a "don't" is now a "do". So put your jeans on and grab a contrasting shirt and make a day of it!

I got this little gem of a book a few Christmas's ago but up until this point it's sat on my night stand....... Not any more!
